Christy Bonstell
County Recorder
Welcome to Warren County Recorder's Office
The Recorder of Deeds office serves as an essential role in government as it maintains and preserves some of Warren County’s History and most important records. The Recorder of Deeds records and files documents that affect the real estate, personal property, Subdivisions, as well as Federal and State Tax Liens and Military Discharge Papers. The Recorder’s office is also responsible in issuing Marriage License and retaining copies..
The friendly staff here at the Warren County Recorder’s office consist of one elected official with 35 years within the Real Estate/Title Company Industry, and 2 very friendly full time employees that are always willing to help. The Recorder’s Office is in the business of recording documents. It is important to know that we do can not conduct an abstract of title (RsMO 59.200), draft documents or give any legal advice. Our recommendation is to seek direction from an attorney or title company in creating documents for recording.
